Please list the title of the book, your name, and an EXPLANATION as to WHY you liked it. Examples of two books have been done for you to view.

The Giver (Mrs. Stuckart) This book is phenomenal. It truly makes the reader think about life and cherish diversity. It's challenging but well worth the read.
The Giver ( Erin A.) I am enjoying The Giver because of the descriptive language;it really makes me feel like I am actually in the book, and felt the pain that the Giver and Jonas felt. This book makes me think about the value of both wonderful and painful memories. Yet, I don't think it is fair that only Jonas and the Giver should have to endure all of the pain. it should be spread throughout the entire community.
The Giver (Mallory K.) Since this book is Sci-fi, I have gotten really into it. With this messed up community, family units, birth mothers (and all of the other odd jobs), it makes me think about the perspective of a person who could live in a community like that. To them they think that our life is terrible with wars, hunger, and all of the other '' terrible" things we have to live with. It is a challenging book, but I just can't seem to put it down.

Number the Stars (Mrs. Stuckart) Again, another novel worth reading. This not only has historical facts in it about the Holocaust, but reading it from a child's eye adds another component that I enjoyed. Like the Giver, it causes the reader to reflect on one's life.
